The motel looked friendly, with the painted flowers. The best thing about the hotel is its proximity (1 minute walk) to Chestnut street, a lively street full of shops, restaurants, cafes, etc. In general, the Marina is a friendly neighborhood with good public transport connections to most places in San Francisco (center, Golden Gate Park, pier, etc.). And the shower was very nice!

We had a family room, and these are located at Lombard street, so this can be quite noisy, but this did not really disturb us.

Never got the right number of towels and the garage wasn't always available.

It was personal and nicely decorated, not sparse, bare and minimalist. Loved having a garage for the car and the flower garden made the view of the courtyard an oasis in a large city.

We would have preferred to be closer to the main attractions but the bus ride was not too bad. We would have had a perfect stay if the Day Passport for the buses and cable cars was easier to find and buy.

Dogs are welcome and parking is free. It doesn't get much better than that. In addition, the room was large and clean. The location is great, a short walk to the Palace of Fine Arts and the marina.

You're not allowed to leave your dog in the room unattended unless you the dog is crated. If you have a big dog and are traveling without a crate, that's a problem. Also, if you get a room off Lombard, it's noisy.

Convenient for seeing all the main sights around 🌆. the staff here were amazing, so nice and welcoming.

They get 5 stars from us! This was a very nice Motel. Probably one of the cleaniness we have ever stayed in. The room was small but very comfortable with high end linens giving it a spa like feeling. The gardens are just beautiful and you feel like you are staying in a county cottage. The staff were so polite and did very thing they could to make our stay comfortable and it was. We highly recommend this motel and it will be our first choice when visiting San Francisco again.

Choose queen room with a nice bathroom, separate kitchen plus microwave. Exceptional employees. - Great location in town, walking distance to tourist attractions.

We stayed in a room next to the road which was the noisiest and unpleasnat experience we have encountered having stayed at hotels all over the world. Much could have been done to eradicate the traffic noise but was not done. On arrivcal the heating had been switched off and the bedrooms were freezing - and the bathroom window was left wide open to make matters worse.Overall it was a pretty awful experinece that will be reflected in customer comments on the website of this hotel. We would never stay ther again
